Chesterfield Township Police Arrest Two Men Accused of Soliciting Minors – The Voice

Chesterfield Township police arrested two men over the weekend accused of soliciting sex from minors.

Shortly after 11 p.m. on May 18, an adult male was arrested at a residence in Chesterfield Township for soliciting sex from a minor. Police said initial investigation revealed the man communicated with two adult subjects, posing as minors, through an online dating platform. The man then communicated via text message and agreed to meet at the residence for the purpose of engaging in sexual acts.

The adult subjects posing as minors called police when the man arrived at the home. He was arrested and booked into the Macomb County Jail where he awaits arraignment.

On May 19 around 8 p.m., an adult male was arrested at the Walmart store in Chesterfield Township for soliciting sex from a minor. The initial investigation revealed that the man communicated through an online dating platform with the same two adult subjects who posed as minors in the previous case, police said. The man agreed to meet at Walmart with the intention of engaging in sexual acts.

The suspects posing as minors called police when the man arrived at the store. He was arrested and booked into the Macomb County Jail, where he also awaits charges.
