Registration for the grand reopening tour of Michigan Central Station opens Tuesday

Tickets for the grand reopening of Michigan Central Station will be available to the public on Tuesday.

According to Michigan Central, ticket registration for Michigan Central OPEN will open to the public on Tuesday, May 21 at noon. Reservations can be made at

Hosted by Ford and Michigan Central, the event will include an opening concert on June 6, then OPEN House from June 7 to 16 with a first look at the station’s main floor.

Father-daughter ironworkers among those who rehabilitated Michigan Central Station

Officials say the first commercial residents will move in in the fall.
