CPEC: A game-changer in strengthening Pakistan’s economy: Rana Tanveer

LAHORE: “The true measure of our success lies in sustainable development, which has a positive impact on our socio-economic structure and thriving industries leading to a stable economy,” said Rana Tanveer Hussain, Federal Minister for Industries and Production and National Food Security .

The Minister inaugurated the Rachna Industrial Park in Sheikhupura while addressing its function and underlined the importance of economic zones in transforming global economies and leading countries to prosperity.

Rana Tanveer highlighted the crucial role of industrial parks and special economic zones (SEZs) in Pakistan’s economic development. He also emphasized the interdependence of industrial and national development, stating that a flourishing industry leads to a stable economy.

He emphasized that industrial development is crucial in shaping Pakistan’s economic landscape.

According to Rana Tanveer, the completion of the Rachna Industrial Park is a testament to the government’s continued commitment. Strategically located near the M2 and M5 highways, the park is an important part of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), promoting trade and cooperation between the two countries.

Rana Tanveer highlighted the role of the private sector in driving economic growth and emphasized that close cooperation between the government and the private sector is essential for sustainable development. He noted that industrial development stimulates foreign investment and increases the country’s export capacity.

The minister also underlined the government’s focus on agriculture and industry to boost exports and strengthen the economy. He stated that the government has taken concrete steps to improve agricultural productivity and supply quality seeds and fertilizers to farmers.

“Our government does not believe in spreading negativity and hatred, but in taking practical steps towards economic prosperity,” said Rana Tanveer. He emphasized that sustainable development is the top priority of the Muslim League-Nawaz government and the country is moving towards economic progress through sound economic policies.

Rana Tanveer reiterated the government’s commitment to CPEC and stated that it will be a game changer in strengthening the country’s economy. He emphasized that CPEC will play a crucial role in making Pakistan economically resilient and prosperous.
