280 children in the rural municipality of Dostuk live in harsh conditions

AKIPRESS.COM – According to the village council, 280 children in the rural municipality of Dostuk in the Aravan district, Osh region, live in harsh conditions and in low-income families.

A report was drawn up calling on local residents to lend their assistance to the children.

According to social worker Avazkan Omurbaeva, the majority of these children live in low-income families. There are half-orphans, children who live in harsh conditions and children who live in large families with many children among them. The village budget provides support for such children. The children are provided with clothing and school supplies before the start of the school year. Families with the most difficult conditions can buy food and coal in winter. Statistical data changes annually, some are removed from the register, others are included. “We have opened bank accounts, the money raised will be used to support children.”

Most children live in the Allya Anarovskiy Rural Municipality, which was merged with the Mangyt Rural Municipality and transformed into the Dostuk Rural Municipality after the administrative-territorial reform.

Now there are 12 villages with a total population of 32,246 people in the rural municipality. Mamirjan Kadirov is the head of the rural municipality.
