The 20-hectare estate was a luxury holiday farm in the portfolio of local entrepreneur Norm Black, co-owner of TripADeal and his wife Fiona, accommodation superhost. It was initially listed at $2,950,000 after the Blacks renovated the three-bedroom home following its $1.9 million purchase in 2021 from Transport NSW.

It became part of their Black Cockatoo Retreats portfolio, which includes farm stays in Coorabell and Bangalow. The house rents for just $1,500 per night and has four bedrooms with two living areas, with views of Mount Warning.

The Blacks have added a hot tub next to the pool. There is a machine shed with four compartments and an independent studio.

There are 3,000 macadamia trees on the block.
