Festival a microcosm of West Vancouver in Ambleside Park

The Community Cultural Fest invites locals to explore the melting pot of West Van at Ambleside Park

An upcoming festival aims to pack a microcosm of West Vancouver’s cultural diversity into one big party in Ambleside Park.

The West Vancouver Community Cultural Fest is scheduled for May 31 from 4:00 PM to 8:30 PM and June 1 from 11:00 AM to 8:30 PM at Ambleside Park at the foot of 13th Street.

The two-day festival aims to bring people together through food, music and culture. You can enjoy an international beer or wine with your Polish, Korean or Persian meal, while enjoying a live performance by an incredibly talented and diverse group of dancers as they show off their moves to the rhythm of music from all corners of the world.

Formerly called the Bridge Festival, the event also features cultural pavilions, showcasing diverse traditions from South Africa and China to Ukraine and Colombia. The West Vancouver Community Cultural Fest hasn’t forgotten about kids, with the Park Royal Kids’ Zone designed for young culture vultures and their families. The festival has dedicated parking areas to ensure good accessibility, especially for people with disabilities.
