Bunny, Bubbles and Beulah Stun in New Country Bear Musical Jamboree Costumes – World Of Walt

Get ready for some hand clapping and foot stomping as Country Bear Musical Jamboree returns to Frontierland this summer! Bunny, Bubbles and Beulah will have brand new looks with bright, bold and brilliant costumes when the redesigned show debuts!

In a brand new video, go behind the scenes with Sara Landesberg, a Disney Live Entertainment client who helps bring these new fantastic looks to life. Sara is the coordinator of the various teams that come together to create a complete garment, hat or other items that will ultimately be central to the jamboree – including each rhinestone that is painstakingly placed over the large-fringed costumes.

“I help find all the fabrics, parts and rhinestones,” Sara explains. “I’m also working very closely with the pattern team to figure out how we can actually make the garments come together in 3D, and how they will fit the bears, which are all very unique shapes and different sizes.”

Audio-Animatronics figures don’t move the same way people do, so dressing the bears is a little more challenging than just picking up the real old country rhythm.

“They have a lot of repetitive movements, so often we add inserts or extra pockets of fabric to give them more room to do those repetitive movements without ruining the costume,” she continues.

Bunny, Bubbles, Beulah and the rest of the Country Bears get ready to put on a brand new show that pays tribute to Nashville’s Opry-style shows. While the new Country Bear Musical Jamboree will feature some Easter eggs from start to finish, including a familiar tune that fans may remember, the bears will sing new, reinterpreted Disney tunes across various genres of country music – such as bluegrass, pop-country, Americana, rockabilly and other styles.

So gather all the family members and plan to be at Magic Kingdom when the Country Bear Musical Jamboree is completely redesigned and looking stylish!
