Nassau County’s 911 system is back up and running after a brief outage

NASSAU COUNTY (WABC) — Nassau County’s 911 system is back up and running after a brief outage Monday afternoon.

Police Chief Patrick J. Ryder says residents no longer need to contact the Nassau County Police Department or Fire Department directly for emergency assistance.
