Governments should use emergency powers to introduce laws to prevent cities such as Dublin, London and New York from being canonized, says New York Governor Kathy Hochul.

In a keynote speech at the Global Economic Summit in Killarney, Governor Hochul warned that if high housing costs drive out existing talent and discourage the arrival of new talent, cities will no longer be the engines of innovation and growth.
