Scotland’s Port of Greenock invests £750,000 to significantly improve the country’s refrigerated freight capacity

Greenock is owned by Peel Ports and is Scotland’s only deep-water port. It says increasing the number of cooling points from 32 to 220 will help the port maintain its position as a leading cold cargo hub on the West Coast, particularly benefiting the food manufacturing sector and pharmaceutical manufacturers.
